Delta's Restaurant Executive Chef Featured for Adding Exotic and Familiar Flavors to Menu
(
PRLEAP.COM) New Brunswick, NJ - August 20, 2008 – Willie J. Stafford, the executive chef for Delta’s Restaurant, a Southern food restaurant found in New Brunswick, New Jersey, was recently featured in the Home News Tribune for his innovative cooking style that allows him to take classic dishes and take a Southern spin on them.
Stafford and his team of chefs work hard to prepare something every week that will allow for guests to return and find new and old items that they can enjoy.
Just a few of the features on Delta’s Restaurant menu include Chicken, Shrimp and Sausage Gumbo; Braised Short Ribs with Bourbon or BBQ Sauce; Fried Pork Chops in Skillet Gravy and Pecan-crusted Salmon with Dijon Sauce.
Dessert lovers will enjoy classic Southern favorites, such as Sweet Potato Cheesecake, Bourbon Pecan Pie and Red Velvet Cake.
"I encourage my cooks to be creative and come up with ethnic dishes, and then I put a Southern spin on them," said Stafford in the feature. "Our chicken parmesan special, for example, will have a mixture of marinara and barbecue sauce, and we’ll replace the mozzarella with pepper jack."
