LMO Inc. Prides Itself on Serving the Construction Industry Since 1996
(
PRLEAP.COM) November 16, 2008- Fredericksburg, Virginia- In 1996, Larry Oelrich and his son Matt decided to start a company that specialized in minor construction and remodeling. As time progressed, the pair provided more services, expanding their business.
The partnership began installing interior trim for custom and high production builders and in 2000, incorporated as LMO Inc. They focused on meeting the needs of interior trim installation, as well as cabinets and interior rail systems for high production builders.
The Oelrich’s identified suppliers who could provide them with major materials. Suppliers found back in 2003, such as BFS, Stock, and Annandale Millwork is still currently being used.
The company has expanded since its beginning. Larry Oelrich said, "One part of our company builds new houses, another part of our company trims the interior of houses for National Builders and another part does remodels and renovations." This is the same company that started off as a general contractor for minor home repairs and remodels. Oelrich recalls renovation work done by his company, to a building on the historical register of VA. "We converted the historical building into a modern commercial office while preserving the original appearance. When we finished the job, the chamber of commerce, board of supervisors and the press were there. We had a big ribbon cutting ceremony."
Longevity is certainly an important factor to LMO Inc. Oelrich said the way his company treats customers sets them apart from its competitors. "We truly try to put the customer first by meeting their needs and solving problems efficiently." A few of LMO’s clients have been with them for nearly 10 years.
"Some of our proudest moments come from when we get continued renewal business from word of mouth. We have people that call and say, ‘We saw your work from so and so and want that done for us.’"
In 2006, LMO began offering installation services directly to builders and currently, the business is looking forward to new business relationships that will enable them to bring together all of their capabilities to accomplish worthwhile projects.
"We offer quality work for quality value," Oelrich said. "A lot of people who know us now know they get a great value working with us."
When asked what inspired the father and son duo to begin an independent business, Oelrich jokes, "We had to eat." Although there is truth to that statement, the owner said his true inspiration was being able provide people with services and products that were of good value.
